John Carpenter re-records classic film themes
John Carpenter has announced details of Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998, a collection of his classic movie themes, set for release on 20th October via Sacred Bones.
The album collects 13 themes from Carpenter’s career together on one volume for the first time. Each theme has been newly recorded with the same collaborators that Carpenter worked with on his Lost Themes studio albums: his son, Cody Carpenter, and godson, Daniel Davies.
