Skating Polly have announced their new album, and first ever UK release, The Big Fit for release on 8th April via Chap Stereo Records. The stepsister duo of Peyton Bighorse and Kelli Mayo toured the UK for the first time last year, supporting Babes in Toyland on their reunion shows. The album was produced by Kliph Scurlock (Gruff Rhys, Flaming Lips). Check out a track from the album below:

Guildford based punk and hardcore label Lockjaw Records have announced they will release the new record from Canadian skate punk legends Belvedere on 5th May. The Revenge of The Fifth is the fifth studio album from the Calgary quartet.

Three years after their debut album Still Smiling, Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld return with a new work, Nerissimo (29th April, Specula Records).

Chapter Music release Up To Anything, the debut album by teen Brisbane trio The Goon Sax on 8th April. They hope to tour the UK in September.

Sub Pop has announced that singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kyle Craft will release Dolls of Highland, his label debut, on 29th April.  The twelve track album features the singles ‘Lady of the Ark’, ‘Eye of the Hurricane’, ‘Future Midcity Massacre’ and ‘Black Mary’. Dolls of Highland was written, recorded and produced by Craft, mixed by Brandon Summers and Benjamin Weikel of The Helio Sequence at the Old Jantzen Building in Portland, and mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound.

Belfast’s Sea Pinks will play London’s Shacklewell Arms on 12th March with The Leaf Library and Young Romance.

Jealous of the Birds (the solo project of Irish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Naomi Hamilton) releases a debut album, Parma Violets, on 8th April. She plays 39 Gordon Street, Belfast on 18th February as part of the Output Festival.
