A Carefully Planned Festival update

A Carefully Planned Festival returns to Manchester’s Northern Quarter for its sixth, two-day celebration of alternative music and DIY culture on 15/16 October.
This year’s schedule features 164 acts including Joanna Gruesome, Johnny Foreigner, Admiral Fallow and allusondrugs.
Shows take place across key local venues: Soup Kitchen, Mint Lounge, Night & Day, Aatma, Mint Lounge, Gullivers, The Castle Hotel, The Crown & Kettle, Texture and 57 Thomas Street.
ACPF is run entirely by local volunteers without sponsorship, industry backing or investment.
Other highlights of the weekend include:
● After-parties until the early-hours, with DJ sets from Manchester indie-pop legends Underachievers Please Try Harder, local Krautrock experts Dots & Loops, and women in-music champions Thirsty Girls Collective.
● Discounts and offers from local businesses and food-outlets around the NQ
● Our specially brewed ‘A Carefully Planned Pale Ale’ from Marble Brewery
