Updates from Half Japanese, Garbage, Hop Along and more.

Fire Records release Half Japanese‘s Volume 4: 1997-2001 on 27th November. The set comprises the albums Bone Head, Heaven Sent and Hello.  Also set for release on 16th October is Boo!, the recording of their 1992 European tour, which appears on vinyl for the first time.

Philadelphia’s Hop Along visit the UK for a few dates later this year before heading to mainland Europe.

Garbage have announced a special 20th anniversary edition of their self-titled album in celebration of its debut. The new version will be re-mastered from the original analogue tapes. The CD and digital version will be released on 2nd October, with a double vinyl edition to follow on 30th October. A deluxe box set is due for Christmas.

Suede will release their brand new studio album Night Thoughts on 22nd January . It was produced by long-time Suede collaborator Ed Buller and was recorded at SARM studios in London and ICP in Brussels.

John Grant‘s Grey Tickles, Black Pressure is released on 9th October via Bella Union. It was recorded in Dallas with producer John Congleton (St Vincent, Franz Ferdinand).

Hinds will release their debut album Leave Me Alone on 8th January via Lucky Number.

Wolf Alice release a single, ‘You’re A Germ’ on 30th October. The 7″ single, which comes in four different sleeves, is backed by a new track, ‘Baby Ain’t Made Of China’.

Darren Heyman releases Florence, his new solo album on 6th November via Fika Recordings.
